A user recently reached out to us with a legitimate question – and we greatly appreciate exactly this kind of feedback. Because it helps us to further improve our communication and our product.

"If you can see that we use Jurilo – can you also see our specific questions? And if a human intervenes – are they bound by attorney-client privilege? Are there contractual regulations and is a conflict of interest situation excluded?"

We would like to answer these points openly and transparently:

1. Who sees what?

Jurilo is primarily a fully automated legal chatbot – developed for Swiss SMEs, fiduciaries and HR teams.
The vast majority of user inquiries are answered fully automatically and within seconds – without a human ever having access to the content.

In short: No – we do not see your questions.
We also do not actively or manually evaluate any content, certainly not to identify individual users or their legal questions.

We only see anonymized statistics, such as the number of questions asked, common topic areas (e.g., vacation, termination, working hours) or technical usage data (e.g., browser type or error messages).

2. What happens when a human needs to intervene?

In very rare cases – such as a deliberately requested or escalated inquiry – a legal expert commissioned by us may provide support.

In this case:

  • It only happens at the user's request.

  • There is a contractual duty of confidentiality (according to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy).

  • Access is granted exclusively to qualified professionals who are either themselves bound by attorney-client privilege or contractually bound to equivalent confidentiality obligations.

  • Any potential duty to recuse (e.g., in case of conflicts of interest) is already prevented at the system level – through a role and access concept that does not disclose personal or company-specific data.

3. Your data belongs to you – period.

Jurilo does not permanently store personal data without explicit consent. We work in compliance with DSG and GDPR with servers in Switzerland and ensure that all data is encrypted during transmission and processing.

We understand the need for discretion and legal certainty – especially in the sensitive area of employment law and business management.
