These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Jurilo, including the Jurilo website, web application, AI-powered legal research and information services, document analysis, contract review and drafting functionality, tax functionality, APIs and other related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Jurilo and Lawise.ai are product and service names used in connection with the Service.The Jurilo Service
Jurilo is an AI-powered platform designed to support users in researching, understanding, analysing and working with Swiss legal information.
Depending on the subscription or service selected, Jurilo may provide functionality including:• Swiss legal research and question-and-answer services;
• information concerning Swiss contract, employment and social security law;
• Swiss federal and cantonal tax-law research;
• contract review and analysis;
• document analysis;
• drafting and revision of legal documents and clauses;
• source references and citations;
• company-specific or user-provided information and documents;
• team functionality; and
• other legal research and AI-supported functionality made available from time to time.The precise functionality available depends on the user's subscription, account type and the current version of the Service.
Jurilo Is an AI-Based Research and Information Tool
Jurilo uses artificial intelligence and automated processes to analyse legal questions, documents and information.
Although Jurilo is designed specifically for Swiss legal research and uses selected legal sources and specialised processes intended to improve reliability, AI-generated results may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, incorrect interpretations or other inaccuracies.
Jurilo therefore does not guarantee that every answer, citation, analysis, recommendation or generated document is complete, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose.
Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and exercising appropriate professional and human judgement before relying on them.
For matters involving significant legal, financial, tax, regulatory or other consequences, users should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of Jurilo does not by itself create an attorney-client, fiduciary or similar professional relationship between the user and Jurilo, High-Tech Connect, Lawise.ai or any person involved in operating the Service.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Jurilo does not represent users before courts, authorities or third parties.
The Service is intended to assist users with legal research, analysis and related workflows and is not a substitute for professional legal representation where such representation is required or appropriate.Registration and Eligibility
Users may be required to create an account to access some or all of the Service.
Users must provide accurate, current, complete and truthful information during registration and while using Jurilo.
This may include:• first and last name;
• company or organisation name;
• business email address;
• job title;
• billing information;
• payment information; and
• other information reasonably required to identify or verify the user or organisation.
Users must keep this information accurate and up to date.Identity and Company Verification
Jurilo may require reasonable verification of a user's identity, company affiliation or authority to act on behalf of an organisation.
Verification may include, among other things:• verification through a business email address;
• company information;
• company email signatures;
• payment or billing information;
• publicly available business information; or
• additional reasonable identification information where necessary.Jurilo may refuse, restrict or suspend access until sufficient verification has been completed.
False or Misleading Identity Information
Users must not:• provide a false or fictitious name;
• provide a false, fictitious or misleading company or organisation name;
• falsely claim to work for or represent a company or organisation;
• impersonate another individual;
• use another person's identity or credentials without authorisation;
• deliberately provide false or misleading verification information;
• conceal their identity for the purpose of circumventing access restrictions;
• create another account to circumvent a suspension or termination; or
• otherwise attempt to deceive Jurilo regarding their identity or organisational affiliation.Deliberately falsifying identity, company affiliation or verification information constitutes a serious violation of these Terms.
Where Jurilo determines, or has reasonable grounds to believe, that a person has deliberately engaged in such conduct, Jurilo may immediately suspend or terminate all associated accounts and access to the Service.
In cases involving deliberate identity fraud, impersonation, falsification of company information or attempted circumvention of a previous suspension or termination, Jurilo reserves the right to permanently exclude the person concerned from using Jurilo and from obtaining or accessing any future Jurilo account or trial, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Jurilo may use reasonable technical, organisational and account-related measures to identify and prevent attempts to circumvent such an exclusion.
Except where required by applicable law, a user whose paid access is terminated because of deliberate fraud, impersonation or material falsification of identity information is not entitled to a refund for the affected subscription period.Account Security
Accounts are intended for the registered user or authorised users of an organisational or team account.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity occurring through their accounts.
Users must promptly notify Jurilo if they become aware of unauthorised access to their account.
Login credentials may not be sold, transferred or shared with unauthorised persons.Free Trials and Promotional Access
Jurilo may offer free trials, promotional access, vouchers, discounts or other limited offers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such offers are intended to allow a genuine prospective user or organisation to evaluate the Service.
Users may not create multiple accounts, use false identities, different email addresses, different company names or other methods for the purpose of repeatedly obtaining free trials, promotional benefits or usage allowances.
Jurilo may terminate or refuse promotional access where it reasonably believes that an offer is being abused.
Eligibility, duration, functionality and other conditions applicable to promotional offers may be specified separately when the offer is made.Subscriptions and Fees
Certain Jurilo functionality requires a paid subscription.
Current plans, prices, included functionality and usage allowances are displayed on the Jurilo website or specified in an individual commercial agreement.
Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) unless otherwise indicated.
Applicable taxes, including VAT, may be added where required.
Jurilo may offer monthly, annual or other subscription periods.
Any specific Enterprise agreement, order form or separately executed commercial agreement takes precedence over these Terms where it expressly conflicts with them.Renewal and Cancellation
Where a subscription is designated as automatically renewing, it will renew for the applicable subscription period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Users may cancel their subscription through the functionality provided by Jurilo or by contacting Jurilo where appropriate.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid subscription period.
Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise.Fair Use and Usage Limits
Some Jurilo subscriptions may provide “unlimited” usage subject to reasonable or fair use.
Unlimited usage means normal use by the authorised user or users for legitimate professional or business purposes. It does not permit excessive automated usage, systematic extraction of Jurilo content, account sharing beyond the applicable subscription, resale of access or other activity that materially exceeds ordinary human use of the Service.
Jurilo may apply reasonable technical limits or contact users where usage substantially exceeds normal usage patterns or adversely affects the Service.
Enterprise, API or other high-volume use may be subject to separate commercial terms.Acceptable Use
Users must use Jurilo lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
Users may not:• use Jurilo for unlawful purposes;
• interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
• introduce malicious code or harmful content;
• probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without written authorisation;
• circumvent technical restrictions, rate limits, usage limits or security mechanisms;
• systematically scrape, harvest or extract Jurilo content;
• use automated systems to access Jurilo except through expressly authorised interfaces or APIs;
• resell or sublicense access unless expressly authorised;
• share individual account credentials with unauthorised users;
• reverse engineer the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• use Jurilo outputs or functionality to develop, train or materially improve a competing legal AI service without Jurilo's written permission; or
• misuse Jurilo in a manner that could harm Jurilo, its users or third parties.User Content and Uploaded Documents
Users may submit questions, text, contracts, policies, regulations, agreements, files and other information (“User Content”) to the Service.
Users retain their rights in their User Content.
Users grant Jurilo the limited rights necessary to process User Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and authority to upload and process User Content through Jurilo.
Users must not knowingly upload unlawful content or content that they are prohibited from providing to Jurilo.Confidentiality and Data Processing
Jurilo recognises that legal questions and uploaded documents may contain confidential or commercially sensitive information.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Jurilo Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Where appropriate, Enterprise customers or other organisations may enter into additional data-processing, confidentiality or security agreements with Jurilo.
The Privacy Policy forms a separate document and should be read together with these Terms.Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, interfaces, workflows, databases, system architecture, prompts and orchestration methods, proprietary legal data structures, branding, designs and other proprietary components, is owned by or licensed to Jurilo or its operator and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
This includes proprietary Jurilo technologies and methods, including the Jurilo Legal Graph™, to the extent protected by applicable law.
Except for the rights expressly granted under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to users.
Users may use Jurilo outputs for their own legitimate personal, professional or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and any third-party rights applicable to source material.Legal Sources and Third-Party Content
Jurilo may reference legislation, court decisions, administrative materials, guidance, publications and other third-party sources.
Rights in such third-party materials remain with their respective owners.
A citation or reference provided by Jurilo does not imply that Jurilo owns, endorses or controls the underlying source.
Users should consult the cited original source where the exact wording or current legal status is important.Service Availability and Changes
Jurilo aims to provide a reliable and continuously available Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, infrastructure failures, security measures or circumstances outside Jurilo's reasonable control.
Jurilo may modify, improve, replace or discontinue features as the Service evolves.
Where a change materially affects a paid subscription, Jurilo will seek to provide reasonable notice where appropriate.Suspension and Termination
Jurilo may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including where:• these Terms are materially breached;
• payment obligations are not fulfilled;
• fraudulent or abusive activity is suspected;
• false identity or company information has been provided;
• security of the Service or other users is threatened;
• usage materially exceeds applicable subscription or fair-use limits;
• the Service is used unlawfully; or
• suspension is required by law or a competent authority.Where appropriate, Jurilo may provide the user an opportunity to remedy a breach before termination.
No prior warning is required in cases involving fraud, deliberate misrepresentation, security threats, unlawful activity, attempted circumvention of restrictions or other serious misconduct.
The permanent-exclusion provisions in Section 6 apply to deliberate identity or company-information fraud and attempts to circumvent previous exclusions.Disclaimer
Jurilo is designed to provide high-quality, source-based legal research and AI-assisted analysis. However, no automated legal information system can guarantee that every result is correct, complete or current.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without guarantees regarding the correctness, completeness, suitability or outcome of any particular legal question or matter.
Users are responsible for decisions made on the basis of Jurilo outputs and for determining whether additional professional review is appropriate.Liability
Jurilo and its operator are liable without limitation where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for intent and gross negligence.
Subject to mandatory law, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent legally permissible.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jurilo and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or similar economic losses resulting from use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited under Swiss law.Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users are responsible for claims, losses or expenses arising from their unlawful use of the Service, deliberate violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights or deliberate submission of fraudulent information.
This provision does not apply to the extent that the relevant claim or loss was caused by Jurilo or its operator.Changes to These Terms
Jurilo may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law, security requirements or business practices.
Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner.
The version published on the Jurilo website at the relevant time applies, subject to mandatory law and any separately agreed contractual provisions.
Where required by law, users will be asked to accept materially revised Terms before continuing to use the Service.Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unenforceable or ineffective, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
The invalid provision shall, to the extent permitted by law, be replaced or interpreted in a manner that most closely reflects its intended lawful purpose.Governing Law
These Terms and the use of Jurilo are governed by substantive Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to the user.Jurisdiction
Subject to mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction, the courts at the registered seat or domicile of the operator of Jurilo shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
Mandatory jurisdiction applicable to consumers or other protected parties remains unaffected.Contact
